About Pacific Rim Marine

PDFPrintE-mail

NAMS Certified Marine Surveyor David Jackson has been involved with boats for many years. He draws off a broad range of experience, including being master of traditional schooners, working as an engineer on purse seiners, delivering vessles from places as far away as the Galapagos Islands, and participating in the Vic Maui Race.

Jackson combines on the water knowledge with expertise developed in eighteen years as owner of a boat building and repair business. Having begun his career as a wooden boat builder, he has the skills and knowledge to look carefully at classic vessels, many of which are now seen as treasured antiques.

Clients benefit from working with a mariner who understands the marine environment. Add the perspective of a shipwright, a skilled craftsman who knows what boats need in order to survive the frequently unforgiving marine enviroment and you can have confidence you have the right person to represent your interests.

Jackson began surverying in 1980, joined the National Association of Marine Surveyors in 1993, and became a Certified Marine Surveyor in 1995.
