NAMS Certified Marine Surveyor David Jackson has been involved with boats for many years. He draws off a broad range of experience, including being master of traditional schooners, working as an engineer on purse seiners, delivering vessles from places as far away as the Galapagos Islands, and participating in the Vic Maui Race.
Jackson combines on the water knowledge with expertise developed in eighteen years as owner of a boat building and repair business. Having begun his career as a wooden boat builder, he has the skills and knowledge to look carefully at classic vessels, many of which are now seen as treasured antiques.

Jackson began surverying in 1980, joined the National Association of Marine Surveyors in 1993, and became a Certified Marine Surveyor in 1995.
